Hi there! My name is Sunanda and I want to share a little something about myself.

Growing up in India, the thought of working in culinary was just a dream for me. Coming from a conservative society and being a woman, there were not many opportunities for me to follow my passion. I went to college and graduated with a Master’s degree, but my appetite for cooking was yet to be satisfied. For the last 30 plus years, my time was devoted to my family, raising two sons while my husband and I worked full time jobs. I never once let my passion for cooking fade away. Finally, after all those years in the USA, my fortunes turned to my favor and I joined the International Culinary Center (ICC) in New York City. It was a scary and yet exciting moment in my life. I had the full support from my family to finally pursue something that I wanted to do for so many years!
